PERSONA5 the Animation Steals Otakon!
Fresh off stealing the hearts of fans in Los Angeles, the Phantom Thieves entered Otakon in our nation’s capital intent on doing the same.
The fans response to the panel was amazing as they enjoyed a special screening of PERSONA5 the Animation – THE DAY BREAKERS.
Following the screening, Max Mittleman (English VA of Ryuji Sakamoto in the Persona 5 video game) and Morgana stole the panel and
hearts were once again taken. Attendees at the panel were given a mini Morgana to take home.
Aside from the panel, the Aniplex booth held a Persona 5 cosplay gathering which saw some stylish costumes grace our marketing area.
Otakorp Inc., the organizers for the convention, describe Otakon as “an annual convention held in the summer months to celebrate Asian pop
culture (anime, manga, music, movies, video games, etc.) and its fandom.”
The convention ran from August 10th through the 12th in the U.S. capitol, Washington D.C.
